Into "The Pick-Up Artist" yet? Want to understand the slang used by "Mystery"?
VH1 has posted a glossary for your perusal.
This show is another guilty pleasure. Curses to reality TV... To be honest, I think this show is "better" than the Flavor of Love/Charm School shows. I feel less guilty about enjoying this over-analytical how- to attract women/ make over show than I did about Flavor FLAV!
Watching guys struggle is sort of refreshing and put things in perspective. Everyone fears rejection! Men find Women a mystery and Women feel the same about Men in many cases...
Who knows if this Mystery guy has it all figured out. In the mean time, I'll enjoy this slice of light-weight entertainment. Mystery's over the top performance sure is entertaining. When he talks about his social theories, he sounds quite serious and intelligent. This guy takes this stuff seriously.. even though he dresses like a.... like a... rockstar? clown? You decide. I'll be entertained in the meantime.
Onto the commentary about the most recent episode:
On Episode 2, Spoon was kick off.. well actually he gave up! I was rooting for him. I bet he'll be doing stand up or a TV show, with his 15 seconds of fame. Fred, the 45-yr old virgin guy, needed to go in my opinion. He didn't seem to really be trying.
The makeovers definitely made a difference in theses guys' appearances and attitudes. Next week, these guys are going to have to spend some time with little kids. Weird, huh? I guess it's practice on little girls who have the same IQ as drunk bar chicks? Or maybe grabbing the attention of those with short attention spans.. I guess we'll have to tune in to find out... I know I will....
