Tis the day before Labor day. The obligatory day off from work. What better way to contemplate then to discuss daydreams.
Here's a little writing about a daydream.. Interpret it as you will...
The clock ticks away another minute.
I'm sitting on a fallen branch, waiting for the Sun to rise.
Stuck at the horizon, the hands halt for a moment.
Light rain drops tease the Sun beams, bending them into elf-sized rainbows.
Sent on a mini fantasy, I mount the Pegasus to the other side of the horizon,
where the Sun shines so bright, that my eyes go black.
Hearing the clock tick again, I awake on that same worn branch.
The Sun, having already risen, beats down on my brow.
