Governor Mess

In egomaniac, hypocritical, corrupt politician, giving men a bad name news, NY Gov Spitzer has been a loyal client in a prostitution ring. He better not have been using my hard earned money to pay these whores (illegally) as he smashes his thumb in his wife and family's eyes.

Great Job, at weeding out corruption! I know this is old news by now, But I want to weigh in on this. And by weigh, I mean rant! Who does this "steamroller" think he is?

And how can his wife stand behind him? Every time I see one of these women stand stoically behind their cheating, manipulative husband, I cringe at the message they are sending. "Treat women like crap, and well, there really won't be any consequences, because they are in too deep!" This guy betrayed his family's trust and vows (in addition to the trust his state put in him (but hey, I voted for the other guy), setting a bad example and giving men a bad name.

Also the bar for our LEADERS keep lowering and lowering. I am sick of it! I want leaders not politicians. This means that the men and women elected into office set the example adn serve at the mercy of the public, not find themselves exempt and entitled to perks. Truly great and effective leaders hold themselves to a higher standard. Heck, we can't even find leaders who adhere to the lowest standards (ie: law-abiding and ethically sound).
