I find their analysis of new york city to be highly suspect
Are you referring to the High cost of living post?
Indeed, anyone that thinks that new york is poorer than detroit has been smoking a lot of crack in one of the many abandoned buildings in detroit.
(Hint: free abandoned buildings may lower the cost of living, but not in a way that improves your quality of life)
